Cannot authorise new users

Postby sjmmarsh on Thu May 12, 2016 6:51 am

I still get the authorisation notification emails - when I click on the link, all seems to work as normal. However, the user is still not active. When I go into the admin panel (users / management) I can see they are not active, but when I change their status to active, I get a "CURL error: couldn't connect to host" error message at the top of the screen.

Help!

Are any of the moderators able to help me? I am still unable to authorise new users (I get the CURL: unable to connect to host message) - this also prevents me from doing password resets or other user changes.

I am also stuck at the captcha screen - nothing I put in works. I use an anonymised to get access.

This problem has now been unresolved for more than a year. Is there any chance of it being fixed?

It should be fairly simple as the CURL error just suggests that the admin panel can't see my site where it expects it to be.

Any update on progress?

Regards

Steve
